Based on the classic "Lit Bateau" style this bed is ideal to also use as a day bed simply by adding cushions along the wall it is up against (some prefer to order it in a 2'6" wide size if using it for this purpose - if so please order by phone as altering sizes below will cause price to increase!). The bed is extremely solid and comes complete with wood slats. Perfect for the sleepiest of sleepy heads!!!! It is designed to take a 3' x 6' 3" standard size single mattress but it can be made as a double, kingsize or to other non-standard sizes if required. We are also able to source, at trade prices, handmade wool mattresses in all sizes - please email jon@scumblegoosie.com for details.
Please note that the bed shown is actually a 2' 6" wide version rather than 3'.
