During the long and dark winter months, peasant farmers in xviiith century Sweden turned their hands to furniture making in order to supplement their income. The long case clocks originate from Mora in central Sweden and have become extremely sought after. Their simple, almost naïve designs turn them into a style statement in any context.

Handmade mainly from solid hardwood, our interpretation is closely based on an original eighteenth century specimen and comes complete with a quartz mechanism. The Tibro version has a pearl beaded face frame and hand carved ribbon for a crown.
