Our Butt & Bead wall panelling is one of our signature products that has grown in popularity from one year to the next. We developed this wall panelling over thirty years ago and wanted to replicate traditional Georgian ‘Butt and Bead’ jointed wooden panelling in a sheet form. But were also determined that it should look authentic and not like the thinner alternatives found in many DIY chains.

Together with a specialist, we developed a form of tooling that did the job and after a lot of time (and some considerable investment!) we perfected the product which we now sell. The Joint profile has vertical sides rather than sloping, again contributing to a more authentic appearance. Made from 9mm thick high quality moisture-resistant MDF, these boards are ideal for transforming all kinds of spaces including bathrooms and kitchens.
