This chest resulted in Scumble Goosie being included in The English Home Magazine New Year Honours List 2016 and continues to be one of our most popular pieces. Like all of our chests the Double Bowfront has traditional drawers that run on substantial wooden runners rather than flimsy bits of metal. Solid hardwood construction throughout – even the bases of the drawers and back of the chest! So as with all of our pieces you can be assured that this chest will stand the test of time.

The last image shows a distressed paint finish which is a popular option and which can be more forgiving than a solid paint finish with regards to wear and tear over the years.
