An elegantly detailed frame that can be simplified even further by removing the bow carving (it is loosely attached with two dowels that can be glued in for a more permanent connection). Without the bow of course it could be used in landscape or portrait orientation.

Shown here in raw wood both with and without carving. Please note if the frame is used in landscape without the bow there will be two dowel holes to fill as these will be visible.
