Victorian Wall Panelling ~ (800mm high)

£24.00

Frames of premium grade MDF applied to flat walls to recreate traditional solid panelling.

The Short Victorian wall panelling differs from Edwardian and Regency, in that it can be stacked vertically, as well as horizontally, thus enabling entire walls to be covered – from dado height, to picture rail height, even to cornice or ceiling.

(Short open-backed Victorian Panelling Dimensions: Width 600 x  Height 800 x Thickness 9mm).

The bottom rail of the frame is “missing” so that the panels can be “stacked” vertically up to the required height. This enables the entire wall to be panelled or alternatively just up to a picture rail as shown below. Use our 100 x 1200mm framing strips to complete the lowest rail. Short Victorian can also be used in a single row just up to dado rail but remember that the bottom rail will add 100mm to the 800mm panel height.

Our Victorian panelling is ‘Open Backed’ panelling, which literally has perforations in the shape of  squares to create the panelled look, with your own wall appearing in the spaces

A similar look to this but with squares instead of rectangles can be obtained with our Jacobean panelling (see later).

600mm wide x 800mm high

Short Victorian Requires FS1/FS2 Framing Strips.
