Gustavian Sleigh Bed ~ Single (BD1/A)

Simple yet stylish and very sturdy, this is our first bed design and is popular as ever. It comes complete with strong wooden slats and the standard size is made for a 3′ x 6 ‘ 3″ traditional single mattress though it can be made in many different sizes including doubles. We can supply a lovely quality tufted mattress with traditional ticking covers if required – see Beds section – and also a trundle drawer to fit underneath for storage/sleepovers.
One picture shows a pair featured in Homes and Gardens on which we stencilled a simple design on the headboards.
The Gustavian Sleigh Beds are delivered flat packed for simple self assembly so that they can be taken up staircases more easily. The height is to the top of the headboard (the posts are approximately 93cm high). The footboard posts and arched section are both approximately 82cm high.
